Wrapping is a process beyond macrame.  One yarn wraps around another using a technique that locks the yarn in place. The closest technique to wrapping is tatting without the need for a tatting shuttle.

This 2D workshop teaches the technique and control, to produce a flat skillet mat or small wall hanging. There will be sufficient yarn to also create your unique earrings.

A second “3D” workshop is also available that reveals how to create three dimensional forms. A small mushroom will be made. You can elect as an option to do both workshops or just the first.

Both workshops concentrate on artistic possibilities. We play with design ideas, of colour,
textures and form.

What to bring:

All materials for both workshops are supplied. All you need to bring is your own scissors, an imagination and a sense of humour.

Time:  10am to 2.30pm

**Please note if you’d like to also learn 3D technique that this will be run on Sunday 25 May also.

Location: 211 Dowling Street, Dungog NSW

Parking: Dowling St or nearby side streets
