Would you like to create your own large sunflower using your amazing crochet skills? Join Alison
Thompson as she takes you through her sunflower pattern including how to wire the petals and
add to a stick to create a stunning bouquet. Take home the pattern, as seen in Simply Crochet
magazine (image attached)
Included: crochet hook, two balls of yarn, floristry wire, hobbyfil, printed sunflower pattern

About your tutorcolour and creativity has seen her work in numerous sculpture exhibitions including Eden
Unearthed, Sculpture in the Vineyards, Jumpers and Jazz in July and Yarnbombing Trivento-
Milan edition. Alison regularly teaches crochet in Sydney to both adults and children and enjoys
yarnbombing whenever possible as a fun community focus activity. In addition to teaching
crochet, Alison also enjoys writing crochet patterns, specifically flowers, and has been lucky
enough to have two patterns published in Simply Crochet magazine. Alison also runs kids craft
workshops in the school holidays along with working at a local primary school in the library and
as a learning support officer
