Crochet Flower Workshop
If you have a basic understanding of crochet then you can start your crochet flower making
adventure. Learn how to take the basic stitches and use them to create petal shapes and
texture. You will start by making a daisy in different styles and then, if you feel ready, you will
start on a daffodil and learn the art of wiring petals to allow them to have a 3-dimensional shape
and become a beautiful home décor feature piece.
Included: Crochet Hook, Two balls of yarn, floristry wire, printed daisy and daffodil
patterns

About your tutorcolour and creativity has seen her work in numerous sculpture exhibitions including Eden
Unearthed, Sculpture in the Vineyards, Jumpers and Jazz in July and Yarnbombing Trivento-
Milan edition. Alison regularly teaches crochet in Sydney to both adults and children and enjoys
yarnbombing whenever possible as a fun community focus activity. In addition to teaching
crochet, Alison also enjoys writing crochet patterns, specifically flowers, and has been lucky
enough to have two patterns published in Simply Crochet magazine. Alison also runs kids craft
workshops in the school holidays along with working at a local primary school in the library and
as a learning support officer
