Crocheted Jute Baskets with Sue Connor - Sat 24 May (1pm)

In this workshop you will learn the skills and pattern to make a small crochet basket. These skills and knowledge will enable you to make baskets in whatever size you desire. All materials: including a crochet hook and step by step illustrate instructions to take home plus a light morning or afternoon tea are included. As this will be a small group with a limit of 6 people it is suitable for beginners.
All materials supplied.Time: Various workshop times available.

The workshop may be run outside so you can enjoy our beautiful outdoor space.

About your teacher: Sue Connor
Sue from “Playing With Fibre” is a Botanical Dyer and Fibre Artist based in the Byron Bay Hinterland. She is passionate about sharing her love and knowledge of colour, fibres, texture and the seemingly magical powers of nature. Sue is an experienced facilitator running workshops from her home as well as at festivals such as the Fibre Arts Festival, Knitfest and Camp Creative. Her home dye garden and botanical dyeing skill have been featured in the Gardening Australia magazine. Sue is also a dedicated primary school Learning and Support Teacher.
