Mayan Spinning with Vicki Cornish @bonsai_woman. 

If you knit, crochet or weave and are curious about making your own yarn, this is the workshop for you!

Mayan Spinners are robust, portable and easy to use tools and a fun introduction to the craft of spinning.

Vicki from Bonsai Woman will teach you all the basic spinning skills of drafting fibre, adding twist and plying.  Then you will explore a range of fibres to create your own unique yarn.

Participants will receive comprehensive notes and all spinning fibre.

Mayan Spinners handmade locally with recycled timber will be available to purchase on the day.

 Hints and tips from over 30 years spinning experience, and information on how to use hand spun yarn.
