"Weeds & Their Uses" with Pat Collins
Ever wanted to know what uses the weeds have that grow in your own backyard? You’ll learn to identify these plants, learn their medicinal, cosmetic, culinary uses and how they balance our soil then use them to make into a variety of items. In this workshop we will make:
▪ Wild weed ointment
▪ Wild weed cream
▪ Chickweed or Purslane infused oil
▪ Paddys Lucerne syrup
▪ Tonic tea
▪ Chlorophyll capsules
We start by learning about the herbs and the items we’re making, which will be made in small groups. The products we make are divided up for everyone to take home.
Light lunch, tea/coffee and cake included.
