'Summer Wildcrafting' - Saturday January 20
We love offering a school holiday kids program at Hive & Gobbler !
Shelter, water, food, fire, rope, medicine - all these things can come straight from the bush as long as you know how. This session will improve your child's bush skills, increase awareness and also give them more confidence in the outdoors.
Kids will make a nature bracelet to take home with them.
Ages 5 and up.
Duration: 10-12pm
Bring: Please bring your own hat and water bottle.
MEET YOUR TEACHER
Nikki Brown. Bushwalking with her Grandfather sparked Nikki’s interest in nature. Later, after scouting and mountaineering, Nikki discovered bush survival skills. She has since studied with many wilderness educators including Jon Young, Nature Philosophy Australia, Wilderness Awareness School and Deep Ecology with Joanna Macey. Nikki spent 2010 living in the bush, employing all of her bush survival skills.

Parking: Dowling St or nearby side streets
Please note that all workshops will be run outside if the weather is nice, so participants can enjoy our beautiful outdoor space. If it is too hot, windy or wet, we will be indoors in our air conditioned classroom space.
