Students will design a set and costume from a play, tv show or film of their choice.

This is a design theory course but those that have the skillset and materials can construct a costume or an element of their design.

    Classes will consist of :

         - What is design ?

         - What does a production and costume designer do ?

         - What is the role of a designer for the stage and screen ?

         - How is the world created for the story being told ?

         - How is a design conceptualised and realised ?

         - We look at the process of designing sets and costumes and the key role they play in bringing the story to life for an audience ; The Art of Visual Storytelling.

Students will explore all these elements and considerations.
