NSW CreativeKids Term1 2021 Clay Program (Ages 8-14yrs)

We are really excited to offer a School Term clay program at Hive & Gobbler for kids, for which NSW CreativeKids vouchers can be used.

Students will build creative confidence with clay, learn different techniques for shaping clay and decoration (including tool use).  Students will create and finish work during these classes, which may include painting or glazing work, and having work fired in our new ceramic kiln. 

Duration: 1 hour per session 

Time:  Every Tuesday 3:30-4:30pm (from Tuesday 16 Feb, for 5 weeks)

Age:  This class is suited to children 8-14yrs.

Bring:  Please bring your own water bottle for drinking as part of our COVID-19 safety plan.

MEET YOUR TEACHER
Michelle Dado-Millynn studied Fine Art at The School of Art and Design, Sydney before graduating from The National Institute of Dramatic Art, NIDA in Design in 1988. Michelle has an extensive career as a production and costume designer and art and design teacher/lecturer in theatre, film, television and special events. She is also a champion of numerous environmental and sustainability issues.

Parking: Dowling St or nearby side streets

Please note that all workshops will be run outside if the weather is nice, so participants can enjoy our beautiful outdoor space. If it is too hot, windy or wet, we will be indoors in our air conditioned classroom space.
