Would you like to help protect 3 of our most precious local species ?

Dr Michael Netherton will run this workshop assembling nesting boxes for 3 of our regions cutest critters : The Spotted Pardalote, Squirrel Glider and Microbat.

Participants will be taken on a photo-journey of the very special creatures that live around the Williams River Valley, and then will get to physically assemble (pre-cut, pre-drilled) woodwork into nesting boxes that will be ready to put into use !

The workshop concludes with a presentation on protecting and painting the boxes + where and how to place them around your home and/or paddock.

Time : 10am-1pm

All materials provided. Take home what you make!

If you do happen to have your own cordless drill (and a #2 Phillips driver bit) please bring along. Other tools and equipment will be provided.

There will be a morning tea break with a range of local cafes to choose from.

Location: 211 Dowling Street, Dungog NSW (rear backyard)
