Making Camembert, Brie and Mozzarella !

In this class you will learn the process of how to make Camembert and Brie and in between, we will all make some Mozzarella that you will take home with you ! This is where you get gloves on to stretch and knead the curd. It's a fun filled class and a follow on from the Cheesemaking/Fetta Workshop in the morning. 

It is recommended that Beginner Cheesemakers do the Cheesemaking Workshop before doing this one.

Jenny will provide a light afternoon tea of Camembert/Brie, Crackers and Apple Slice. 

All recipes are provided and afternoon tea is included.

Time : 1.30pm - 4.00pm

Meet your Teacher :

Jenny has been teaching Cheesemaking in the Hunter Valley since moving there in 2019 and is the founder of 'Classes in the Kitchen' based in Polkolbin.

We are offering the Home Cheese Making Workshop in the morning and a chance to up your cheese-making skills in the afternoon with the Camembert Workshop. If you are not a novice to Cheese Making you are more than welcome to book the afternoon class only, however, if you are a novice to cheese making it’s recommended that you complete the morning Home Cheese Making Workshop.

Both classes offer a wide range of Cheeses to make with easy-to-follow recipes. You will leave the class confident to make these Cheeses at home.

Parking : Dowling Street or nearby side streets.
