Beginner Lampshade Making with Deb!

Join Deb making a beautiful lampshade!

All materials provided for a 20cm diameter drum shade, just bring your own fabric! (70cm wide x 30cm high). Mid weight natural fibres are best width any directional pattern running up the height.

If you’d like to use a flower hammered panel, please come to my earlier workshop on Saturday 12th April also. :)

<Hi, I’m Deb – Owner, Designer, and Maker behind Stalia Design.
Creativity runs deep in my family, so it was no surprise when I started working for a sewing machine company at
20. By 24, I’d opened my own sewing shop, and my love for textiles and design was in full swing.
Then life took a detour. I spent nearly two decades in the corporate world (while secretly stitching up clothes and costumes for my kids) until a chronic illness diagnosis nudged me back to my creative roots.
Armed with a Cert IV in Design and a Diploma in Surface Design, I reignited my passion and turned it into a
mission: helping others create beautiful, mindful pieces with sustainability at the heart.
I specialize in teaching techniques that breathe new life into reclaimed textiles—because the most sustainable
garments are the ones you already own
